  1. I am just a cultural person –an actor and now a Cultural Advisor to the Govt. of India . I had acted in an Alkazi play in 1997 called Rishtey Natey and played the male lead –father of a child with special needs . He is supposed to be 15 but mentally 5 years of age–and the problems that go with it. I had to live with children in the school Tamanna in Vasant Vihar with my other our other actor who played the mother to even feel comfortable with them nd how to behave with them. How they felt and how would their parents feel in a public place like Lodhi garden.

I am touched by this site and would like to know more about it and how my organization SEHER (www.seher.in ) can be associated with you all.

This ideas are great. I wanted to share another resource with you. A local high school student ran a reading club this summer. Two autistic students came, and learned about Bookshare and other electronic text-to-speech resources. They became engaged by the highlighted text with the computer reading, and got very involved in their reading. It was a delight to see their excitment in what they were reading. The student/leader has a blog “www.bdmtech.blogspot.com.” with different tips and ideas for helping people with special needs to improve reading and writing.
